I finally made a Trello! it's still being updated / added too but hopefully this will be a nicer way for commissioners to stay up to date with me / Slot availability / and for me to keep up with myself!
my next goals are to have Patreon tiers fixed and ready to accept monthly commission slots by the next payment cycle ( ready for beginning of next month / begin advertisements for it next week? ) my dream goal is to have my rent covered by pre-claimed patreon slots. Guaranteed commission money would make me panic less about bills and the idea is to be overall more organized. outside of commissions with patron support i'd like to make more animations and comics

im not "leaving" DA but i think for right now i need to use it as a sort of post and run situation. trying to navigate this site with everything being all over the place makes me sick! i wind up gritting my teeth, getting a headache and pounding my desk every time i try to use this broke ass site U_U they've made it so hard to actually pay attention to and interact with folks i want to when everything is just a sea of indistinguishable floating text post cubes it makes my adhd ass feel so overloaded i just end up spending an hour trying to just fuckin clear my inboxes so i dont have to look at a sea of text at all times i really want to interact with folks i have like 3 friends yall i wana share and have fun online but idk if i can do much here anymore without wasting so much of my time i already struggle with wasting on other forever scroll sites v( '-' )v

For anyone new or not directly involved, for the past few years i've been shit poor and between unstable housings coupled with some other unsavory things,, i've been struggling to say the least but life's worth living so i just kinda always focused on what was in front of me and told myself things would get better eventually unfortunatly i wasn't exactly prepared for "better" to come like 3 years later,, whoops
The point being in these rough times i've made some bad decisions v( '-' )v
i was fresh out of school and i wound up often relying on just commissions to get by i slept and ate on hopes and dreams while ignoring myself and my community crumbling i lowered my prices further than they ever should have gone and overloaded myself just to get that last 20$, 50$,, 100$ that i needed to make rent, i mean i've made 300 in a night! i can do that again right...? again right?? agai--- until i literally broke,, art machine go brrrhrbrbjrkkkh x-x
I share all this as caution and for understanding,, if you can avoid it yall please don't ever put yourself into an unsafe position where your passion is paying for it cause soon it might not be much of a passion anymore and anything will better than feeling alone and homeless
getting to the point now,,
NONE of these things excuse me from the obligation i still owe to the folks who at the time really helped me out. a certain world wide thing is happening right now and a particularly shitty government decided to give everyone like 10$ i guess so i'm using that to pay folks back :d i'm done lying to myself and others that i'll ever have it in me to finish my old queue. my style, my process, my brain all work differently now and i want so desperately to have my online space back and not haunted by old mistakes i want to make good and move on.
as a little extra for anyone who i am repaying if you would like and if you'd ever consider working with me in the future i'd like to add ur name to a list who are owed a discount for the trouble. I do intend on taking commissions again someday (very small bach this time lol) and things like ychs,, my dream is still to be a working artist / content creator but like this time in a healthy way
